Thanks Denny

Denny is the keenest , most enthusiastic  and knowledgable person in relation to the game of golf that I have the privilege  to know.

His love for this great game was kindled by “Daddy Fos” from an early age.  He was a weekly boarder at The Lodge School and would bring a couple clubs and balls so he could practice.  He played on weekends and holidays at Rockley Golf Course.  From then until today his love  for the sport continues to increase!

Fos, in addition to playing, loves to organise and coach.  No one in Barbados has done more of either.  In fact I say without fear of contradiction that he has organised more Tournaments and coached more players (especially youngsters) than anyone else since this sport has been played in Barbados.

He knows much of the game's history and has played many of the World's best courses including every Open venue.

Since 1986 there has been annual golf trips including Denny.  This started at “Turnberry Isle” in Miami.  In 1999 Fos’ tour joined The Andrew Phillips tour and it has blossomed to what it is today.

Denny  has handed over the organisation of this annual event and the main tournament has been name in his honour.

Thank you from each and every one of us that participated in and enjoyed all that you have done.

Keep up your dedication and commitment to this wonderful sport.
